Govt. Degree College Uffrainkhal established on 25th august, 2016 under Srinagar vidhansabha, is still in its infancy. Classes of faculty of arts are being conducted at under graduate level with ten Subjects Hindi, English, Geography, History, Political Science, Sociology, Education, Military Science, Sanskrit and Economics. The college is mainly providing holistic education to the youth of about hundred of remote villages and fifteen secondary schools of Chauthan patti, Dhoundiyalsyun patti and of border area of Kumaun region. Today as we are in the era of international competition, so it very important that our students should be prepared for a healthy competition.

Most of our students come from relatively less resourceful backgrounds and difficult geographical conditions so it is our utmost effort to provide both qualitative and quantitative higher education to the last student of this remote mountainous rural area. We believe that by working with hard work and dedication, highly educated, loyal and responsible youth can be prepared to serve our nation and society gradually, we are moving towards this direction

We are committed to holistic development of our students through physical, social and cultural activities, organized on various occasion in our college by forming different committees of teachers and students. It is our aim to flourish the college with all sorts of necessary resources and to establish it at the forefront in the field of standardized higher education in the near future.

जनपद पौड़ी गढ़वाल के राठ क्षेत्र में बिन्सर महादेव की पुण्य भूमि पर गढ़वाल एवं कुमाऊं की सीमा पर तथा उफरैं माता की गोद में दिनांक 25 अगस्त, 2016 को श्रीनगर विधानसभा के अंतर्गत स्थापित राजकीय महाविद्यालय उफरैंखाल अभी अपनी शैशवावस्था में है। महाविद्यालय श्रीदेव सुमन उत्तराखण्ड विश्वविद्यालय, बादशाहीथौल, नई टिहरी से संबद्ध है। स्नातक स्तर पर कला संकाय की कक्षाऐं दस विषयों- हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी, इतिहास, भूगोल, समाजशास्त्र, राजनीति विज्ञान एवं अर्थशास्त्र, संस्कृत, शिक्षाशास्त्र एवं सैन्य विज्ञान के साथ संचालित की जा रही हैं। महाविद्यालय मुख्यतः चौथान पट्टी, ढौंडियालस्यूं पट्टी और सीमा से लगे कुमाऊं क्षेत्र के लगभग सौ गांवो एवं पंद्रह माध्यमिक विद्यालयों के युवाओं को उच्च शिक्षा प्रदान कर रहा है।
आज जबकि हम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतिस्पर्धा के युग मे है, यह बेहद जरुरी है कि हम अपने छात्र-छात्राओं को एक स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा के लिए तैयार करें हमारे अधिकतर विद्यार्थी अपेक्षाकृत अल्प संसाधन वाली पृष्ठभूमि और दुष्कर भौगौलिक परिस्थितियों से आते हैं ऐसे में हमारा अधिकतम प्रयास है कि महाविद्यालय द्वारा इस सुदूर पर्वतीय, ग्रामीण अंचल के अंतिम विद्यार्थी तक को गुणवत्तापूर्ण उच्च शिक्षा प्रदान की जाये। हमारा विश्वास है कि कठिन श्रम और समर्पण भाव से काम करते हुए उच्च शिक्षित, देश और समाज के प्रति निष्ठावान युवाओं को तैयार किया जा सकता है। हम धीरे-धीरे इस ओर अग्रसर हो रहें है। हम महाविद्यालय में विभिन्न अवसरों पर आयोजित भौतिक क्रियाकलापों के माध्यम से छात्र-छात्राओं के सर्वागीण विकास के लिए संकल्पबद्ध हैं। हमारा उद्देश्य है कि निकट भविष्य में महाविद्यालय सभी आवश्यक संसाधनों के साथ मानकीकृत उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अग्रिम पायदान पर स्थापित हो सके।
